How to Use the BASECOAT Grain Pack
- Import the grain files into your editing software.
- Place your selected grain file (8mm, 16mm, or 35mm) on a video track above your footage.
- Extend or loop the grain clip to match the duration of your edit.
- Select the grain layer and change the Blend Mode to Soft Light.
- Keep the grain layer at 100% Opacity for the intended look, or reduce opacity to taste for a more subtle effect.
